I read this whole book today inbetween college classes (what a way to start college, huh?) It was amazing. Just as good as the previous two in the series were. I especially liked this one, though, because of the relationship between Ben and Talon. I love Hunter/Aiden and Peter/Tyler, but I really liked Ben/Talon. They were both so sweet to each other and their every interaction pulled at my heartstrings. In my opinion, this is probably the most romantic of all three books. Ben is so shy and sweet. In the previous books, Talon was a monster, but I like how he became more human in this book by showing his concern and love for another (Ben). I loved how they both would risk their lives to save each other. This was a really good book, and I can't wait to read the 4th one now! :) I suggest anyone who likes m/m books, or vampire/werewolf books read this series.

This author can write this genre of book like no other author that I have seen. For those of you who follow my reviews, I recommend Gale Stanley.
She does a phenomenal job with writing shifter stories and paranormal fiction.
I never get bored with her writing and it is always easy to get engaged and stay engaged.
If you have not read this author I highly recommend her.

It was ok, but somewhat short. It felt like Part One of the book about Talon and Ben and not like the whole story. More like transition between events. The moment it ended I was caught by suprise. I was expecting the author to say more.
I like Lycans/Vampires idea, thought the symbiotic thing didn't intrigue me much.
I haven't read the rest of series, but in this one I didn't like Abbi character even a bit. A twisted, selfish, doublefaced bitch :-)))

I think I'm done with the series. They don't seem to be getting anywhere and it's getting kind of silly. And not in the good silly-crack fic kind of way either.

This was a hard one to rate. It jumped around from 1 Star to 5 Stars - see below if you want to know why.

Overall, this is an entertaining and unique series about vampires and wolf shifters, which I really enjoyed. I read books 1-7, which are all that are out so far. I'm glad I already had them all because it was only through Book 7 that all the MC's were left without any main open issues. If you stop at Book #6 - then you would have a group of MC's still separated and I, personally, would have been pissed! I would have given it a 1 Star rating. I think it's a cheap way to force readers to buy the next book.

Each book was shorter than I thought it would be. Each book does have a complete love story with new main MC's that are sexy, unique and intriguing. There is also an overall story about their world being weaved through all the books that binds them together but does not ever finish. Sometimes, something happens to a couple MC's from a previous book and you need to read the next books to get resolution, otherwise it's a cliff hanger (and I HATE when that happens directly to the MC's). I can handle their "world" being in a state of change but all the MC's MUST be in either a HFN or HEA state at the end of the book.

In this case, reading through Book 7 works well and will go on my "to be read again" shelf. Not sure I'll go any further though - I'm leery about any of the MC's being left out to hang again. I'm an easy rater - usually 5 Stars means I will read it again because it was entertaining and I rarely give less than that because I read for pure entertainment.

About as weird as the first book. Don't know about the second book 'cause I didn't read it but it was probably as terrible as these other two. But, again, these books are so preposterous I can't help being entertained. Just the idea of hawk vampires is...well. Not all there. So a wolf being turned and mated to a vampire? Such a small step. It's actually more sound than the basic premise of this series. I can't say I'm impressed by these people's ideas of family tho. They really suck at it.

This series is just getting worse for me. Each book is pretty much the same as the one before it and the overall arc is barely progressing. How many books are there supposed to be? There's no way in hell I'm going to keep reading this series if I'm expected to read over 10 books just to get a little resolution.

Wish this would have been longer. I don't think Ben & Talon got to spend enough time together before the story ended.
