Very good. The book's message about lessons we should have learnt from the war in Vietnam regarding treatment of the civilian population,... hmmm.... I suspect we have not learnt them. Certainly a book worth a read if you have a personal or professional interest in this area, and more importantly, worth having a think about what the author points out. The book is all the more important at the moment with the release of the movie "Danger Close" - anyone watching that could expand and round off their thoughts on the topic through reading this book. It was readable, enjoyable, informative, and a book that is the personal thoughts, experiences, and feelings of the author - but also of the Vietnamese people he interviews.
