About the author

Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the unknown person or persons who developed bitcoin, authored the bitcoin white paper, and created and deployed bitcoin's original reference implementation. As part of the implementation, Nakamoto also devised the first blockchain database. In the process, Nakamoto was the first to solve the double-spending problem for digital currency using a peer-to-peer network. Nakamoto was active in the development of bitcoin up until December 2010.

Logging the bitcoin manifesto is very shameless on my end to reach my reading goal. However it’s in this app so it counts (sort of !). There’s a ton of math and code that is def too arcane for me, but I still enjoy understanding the base concepts behind an ever growing topic. The longest chain serving as the proof of sequence is honestly really smart, and I love the lore behind the mystery of who satoshi nakamoto truly is.

This is my first book for intro to the world of Tokenomics, it is pretty simple straight forward but it raised a whole lot of questions in my mind

Bitcoin will do for money what the printing press did for information, it will democratize it and put it into the hands of the people. The only contender to Bitcoin in terms of the perfect currency is gold, and even gold is vulnerable to asteroid mining and nuclear synthesis. Indeed, the cryptographic information that is Bitcoin is the only finite currency known to mankind. When we encounter aliens in the universe, they will be conducting commerce with cryptocurrency.
