Four highland romances in one book. They were sweet stories but not what I have come to expect from a Hannah Howell book . Sweet romances .

Fast cute read, 4 short stories with a Scottish and light magical theme to them. Not related to her other Highland series.

I didn't realize this was a bunch of short stories. It was fun though I enjoyed it.
Edina and the Baby
Edina finds a baby in the woods and becomes his protector. She meets the Hero who claims to be his uncle but she won't give up her protection of the baby so she goes with him and his men back to his keep. She decides she will leave when she thinks the danger has passed for the baby. It was a cute. I liked how self sufficient Edina was.
The Magic Garden
This was so cute. I loved all the personalities in this story. The heroine has a magic garden that makes everyone who eats from it feel happy. But there is a nasty woman in the clan who wants everyone to think the heroine is a witch. The old laird has died and his son comes back from fighting to take his place. He and the heroine were childhood friends but as adults, their attraction is undeniable pretty fast. He at first doesn't accept the magic of the garden and wants her to deny it to keep herself safe. It was sweet watching him fall for her and the side stories with other people in the clan falling in love.
Isbel
This was sweet, but I didn't love it as much for some reason. Isbel is a woman with gifts for seeing fae and ghosts. She is lead to save the Hero after he is wounded. She brings him back to her cottage and nurses him back to health, but he's very adamant about leaving when he is better. The connection just wasn't as strong with these two for me.
Tatha
This one might have been my favorite. Tatha finds out her father just sold her to a lecherous old man and she says "nope, see ya." Packs a bag and heads out on her own. She is lead to a place whose laird promised his dying mother he would never turn away a woman seeking shelter. So he welcomes her into his clan and becomes kind of obsessed with her. She is always on his mind. She goes about day doing her own thing and he's always like, "where's Tatha?" I loved it.

sweet collection of novellas
A collection of 4 Novellas, Sweet fast pace stories. Interesting plots for all 4 stories. Love how H & h develop their relationship . Love the hint of magic in the stories. Spice are varies, story of Tatha & Edina I could give 2-3 🌶️, 1 🌶️ Rose, 0🌶️ Isbel.

The stories of four brave women
This four stories book gave me a good look at the Authors ability’s to tell stories. I enjoyed each story independently of the other as a stand alone.

This book should be called Highland Heroes because it has 4 heroes in four different short stories most having magic as a theme. The stories were enjoyable but not memorable.

Highland Hero includes four short stories written by Howell, all set in historical Scotland. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed all the stories and found them fast, easy reads. I was also pleasantly surprised by the magical elements in each of the stories. The only thing that disappointed me was I couldn't figure out the "Murray" story, and did not see any clear connection to the series. I would recommend this book to fans of historical romance who like a little magic sprinkled n :-)

This books gives you four Scotsmen who when confronted with four very unusual women find that love is not a smooth. But with much perseverance and much hard work they just might get the woman each is meant to have forever. I truly enjoyed the journeys the couples went to get to the marriage. I could tell you something about each but it has been done very well by the synopsis on the book. I will tell you in several places I laughed. I will be rereading it again.

Four short stories of highland Heroes winning their lassies.
(Just a note, I just bougt this book and the pages kept falling out as I was reading. VERY disappointed in Zebra and Kensington Books. They no longer had it in the store where I bought it, so no exchange available. Now I have dozens of pages to re-insert in to the book. Definately made the reading less enjoyable.)

A collection of four short-story romances involving ruggedly handsome highlanders and their damsels in distress. Hannah Howell knows her Scots! They are never disappointing. It's like getting to devour four deserts in one! And yes, as the cover states, "Every Scottish lass should have one..." Grab your warmest plaid and your most comfy chair and indulge!

When i bought this ebook I was not expecting the four short stories to suck me in. I want to see more from these stories especially the Magic Garden. Loved the cats and Gar. Great stories looking for more!

Highland Hero was excellent combination of four novellas. But the thing is it was advertised as a Murry novel. It is worth reading, but I was disappointed, All the way though it I wondered what couple was related to the Murrys.

A series of four or so stories set in Scotland in the 1800s. Three of the four have some element of magic or a heroine who is a healer/may have magical powers. Cute, easily forgettable, easy reading for an evening.

A compilation of four short novellas, Hannah Howell gives the reader bite size stories of her Scottish heroes. The stories are not related except for the small hint of magic/gifts in them. An enjoyable break from your day is what they give you.

5,4,2,4 I love this author. These stories were great except for Isbel which I hated so much I didn't even finish. Edina was my favorite, I loved how strong the h is and how caring the H is, I wish this was a full length book.

Not bad, but not that great either. This book contain sweet romances, but they were not very well developed in character or plot. They stories felt like they moved too quickly because they were not well developed. Pretty generic "Scottish" speech and character types. Overall meh.
