Entertainment & Engagement: Average. The book isn’t designed to be engaging, but it’s not off-putting either.

Educational Value: Excellent. A great first book on small business or a useful reference guide for future needs.

Effort, Accessibility & Aesthetic Impact: Excellent. The content is presented clearly, concisely, and formatted for easy absorption.

Practical Application: Excellent. The book’s strength lies in its practicality—it’s entirely designed for real-world use.

Value for Writers: Poor. While it might offer some insight into the business side of writing, I wouldn’t specifically recommend it for writers.

A great book to read for general ideas about how to start small business. Very concise and focus for small business. This book gives you the basic, for depth, you need to do further research but the book also tell you where to find more information. I find it can be used a checklist for new starters.
Since it includes both Australia and NZ, just focus on the sections relate to your area. For example, i skipped the NZ parts when I read.
As aways, i like "for dummies" editing style.
