Of Una, Crime and a Boy Who Slipped Through Time

When a team of young ghost hunters discover an old abandoned house they are sure it must be haunted by at least a hundred years of ghosts. They set out to investigate! But rather than supernatural activity the team stumble across a hoard of stolen treasure from a spate of housebreakings. Despite their best intentions the children become tangled in the criminal dealings of the violent crooks. With the help of a zany school caretaker the team track the crooks to a remote coastal clifftop. Here they discover the mossy remains of an ancient industrial village with a steep path leading down to a narrow strip of beach at the base of the cliffs. But why are the crooks so interested in the little remote building on the clifftop, and why does the ghost boy who is only visible to Una keep hearing the pitiful cries of two ghost children who haunt the village? So many questions and so many dangers lay in wait for the young investigators.
