I have referred to Places Rated Almanac for several decades, not only while I was overseas and headed stateside, but also as a reference to advise people and governments in the work I do.

He loves, absolutely adores, large cities and their nearby suburbs. Weatjer section is very good.

Very useful! In considering places to move, and also to go on vacations, this book has been handy. It provides helpful information in a number of categories along with cumulative scores for quality of life.
