Great Read
I understand Cebrena concerns about how close Tor and Eshe friendship was but she went about telling Tor how feel the wrong way and it was messed up what she said to Eshe about Kane. Tor and Eshe was truly best friends and nothing more. Kane had Eshe heart but he was insecure the same as Cebrena was. Kane insecurities came from his father belittling him though. He was also putting his health in danger just to get validation from his father which caused problems between him and Eshe. Elijah was itching to get from up under his fathers thumb. Running into the one woman who got away. Had Elijah thinking about standing up to his father. Illovie was and always would be Elijah first love. When Illovie first mentioned her fiancee was hiding something. It really wasn't hard to figure out Auric was cheating. It was his other extracurricular activities that he was doing that had me floored. I knew once Illovie father went into surgery. He wasn't coming back out. Greed caused Auric to be running around using his position to play God with people lives for monetary gain. Auric and Nailea was sneaky and conniving from the beginning. I knew their betrayal was going to change Illovie life. However when Illovie found out the truth. It was a wrap for Auric and Nailea

These characters just crazy and so much toxicity. Lots of moving parts and when did Cebrena got into this “circle” just messy overall and she knew Nikki’s prior relationship with Kane. She had no loyalty. Cebrena irked my nerves. I’m still scratching my head how Nikki and Illovie friends because they such an unlikely pair.
There were name mixups where she keep calling Aika Tavari, that got me confused LOL 😂.
Kane came across like a lil boy putting his life in jeopardy to please his perfectionist dad, so he can feel accepted. I was relieved when he finally got some sense.
To me Tor and the gang had their own book and they were too prevalent in this book you barely read scenes with Elijah. The book should have been centered on Illovie and Elijah!
Well finally these couples get it together because they were all doing too much and Cebrena was not likable in this book and hateful.
Nailea and Auric got what they deserved and they visited the upper room.

Mr.Elijah 🔥🔥🔥
Mr.Elijah is nothing to play with.
Auric and Naliea were triflin and Deada** wrong for what they did to her dad. Naliea definitely got what she deserved for having that man cremated before his daughter could even say her goodbyes. Cebrana was dead wrong for telling thay lie I totally understand that you are mad ,but you knew you wasn't right for that was why you felt bad about it .
I am glad that Eshe and Tor are putting their partners needs before their friendship and learning boundaries to make sure respect is shown. It was great catching up with the couples. Illovie definitely didn't deserve what happen to her all because of greed. Glad Eli was their for her and helped her find closure.
Glad Eli and Eshe are able to get from under their dad.
Glad Eli got his happy ending with the woman you he loves.

What's Done In The Dark Will Always Come To Light!!
There's no way I couldn't be Cabrena friend. Eshe and Kane took care of your kids. Why are you gossiping with messy a** Nikki? That's a recipe for disaster. They both grimy.I would only be friends with Illovie. The couples should have set some boundaries from the very beginning. Kane needs to show his father, he doesn't added pressure to succeed. Someone will have to cuss out Mr.Le' Claire to stay out the couples business. Why does he feel that everbody has to be under his thumb?. Elijah never stopped loving Lovie. Elijah ran into Ilovie while she was asking his father to marry her and her fiance Auric. She was the love who got away and he was determined to get her back before she said I do. Ilovie didn't really want Auric she settled for him because Elijah was keeping secrets and she felt she couldn't trust him. Not only did he gain her trust but he also told her she secret he had been keeping from her. Auric was a snake. He was in a secret relationship with someone else and together they worked on killing patients and collecting a portion of their insurance policies. Killing Ilovie father was the last death they would commit. They paid the ultimate price for it.

Secrets Will Always Come Out!!
Brickhouse, good read. This story has some unexpected moments. Elijah and Eshe were siblings that has an overbearing father that wanted to have control over their lives. Eshe put herself first and decided to have her own life , through trials she finally got everything she deserved.
Elijah chose to live his life under his father until he finally realized that he had his own mind. Illove had so much going for herself or so she thought, this story had some stress, some growth, some fun. It was so good to see how everything worked out for this crew.🤗🤗🤗🤗

Loved it ‼️
Eli didn’t play no games I still wish he had stood up to his father but I like that his father was on board with him and Lovie. No matter how controlling he was he wanted what was best for his children in his own controlling way I guess. Auric and Nailea were beyond trifling.
Kane and Cebrena had every right to feel the way they felt. For me Tor totally crossed a line that I don’t know if we could’ve came back from because how tf do you call me your ex wife/best friend name in that moment.
I’m just glad the enemies were crossed out and everybody was happy in the end.

This valentine standalone is lit. I’m so in love with this update. I’m glad my babies got their lives together. But Tor ol girl pissed me off she was tryna tell the chick she was on her side. It’s gonna take a long time for Kane and tor chicks to be around each other. I’m glad Elijah got his love back Illovie back. And her ex and her daddy ex got what they deserved. They shouldn’t have killed her daddy. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

I was like yess gurl start your own praise team! 😂 But on another note how Tor going to call Cebrena Eshe’S name while, beating it up I would’ve turned around and beat his A**. Honey Eli was so ruthless and always doing what his father wanted but I’m glad that is soft spot for Illovie was still there. He was there when she needed him most and he had her back! Auric and Naliea was triflin smh. Kane and Cebrena had every right to feel how they did because Eshe and Tor was doing to damn much and didn’t care but I guess if Kane and Cebrena forgave them so be it. Good job as always 💙

Elijah never stopped loving Illovie. Running into her years later, he knew he had to finally be honest with her about his lifestyle. Elijah had Illovie’s heart, but being with Auric was the safer option. But sometimes the safe option, isn’t always the best option. Unfortunately Illovie found out a little too late. Auric & Nailea definitely got what they deserved. It’s crazy the lengths people will go behind money & greed. This was a great second chance at love read.

Great Read
Illovie running into Elijah was fate. Old feelings resurfaced for the both of them. Elijah helped her get through one of my the toughest times of her life. Tor and Eshe had to learn a valuable lesson about boundaries. Auric was the worst kind of surgeon and fiance ever! Greed taught him a very valuable lesson. Good read.

I was initially confused with all the dang characters. It took me at least halfway through to get everything straight. I think actually having Nikki in the friend group threw me off. Glad it all worked out. Maybe Eshe and Cebrena will reconcile. I would never have Nikki as a friend though.

Great read!
I loved it. Uric and that girlfriend were so scandalous. Eli did not play about Lovie. I'm glad Kane didn't fall for Nikki's messy butt. And Cebrena was wrong on so many levels. But Tor loves her and wants the best for his family. I'm just glad it all worked out.

Nailea and Auric had me hot !!!! Nikki was…. Interesting. I’m glad Cebrena and Kane overcame their insecurities, but hate the predicament it put Tor Nd Eshe in. I love how Elijah got his girl back Nd wasn’t gone stop until he got her !!❤️

Good
A good read with some drama, secrets, and lies. These couples had so much going on. From the friendships to the insecurities each relationship has it own issues. Jealousy from an ex to scheming fiance the story is all over. I enjoyed the story and the happiness in the end.

This book was juicy. That was a lot of scandalous stuff going on. I can't believe Lovie's fiance was killing people for insurance money. I knew her dad wasn't supposed to die. Well, Auric and her father's girlfriend got what they deserved. Great Read!
