Amazing, heartwrenching and at times difficult to read because some of it hit close to home. Ms. Prochilo created a great read about love and second chances that I recommend.

4.5 stars and one gut-wrenching story. "When we meet again" is a very long journey for two very beautiful characters who suffer far too long without each other. The plot arc in this novel is "time" itself. It begins with Ethan and Brynn, who form a forever friendship in their youth. Brynn's lured away by the pretty boy in school. The emotional and physical nightmare she endures because of her choice is all to common. A reader will have to endure the rough ride with her until Brynn finds her freedom and Ethan to finish a "Happily Ever After." There's one important piece of the story that I missed, and it was the process of Brynn finding that last bit of strength to draw her and her children away, before she is destroyed. The reader walks besides Brynn through her hardships, but the story then leaps to Brynn living on her own. I would have liked to have known what turned the key in Brynn's mind and been there in the moment when she walked away. This story is laced with reality that can haunt a reader. How our choices, our insecurities and time can be our enemy but also our salvation. A true love never really dies, it waits for us to open our eyes and find it again.

When We Meet Again is a love story that tears at the heartstrings for a love that long ago almost was and could be again .... if these two main characters would let pride be and just give in to their feelings. Right from the beginning Brynn's character could have been me, while Ethan's character was the man I always dreamed of. Ethan's character was one of conviction with a secret burning for Brynn. In his adolescent years, he calls Brynn's boyfriend, Hart, for the abusive bully that he is. Brynn is captivated by a popular boy who seems nothing like Ethan describes and so begins the saga.
My first reaction when I put this book down was WOW! I felt emotionally drained which is one of the best things an author can leave me with. I felt as though I had a vested interest in these characters all the while, I was swept away with the story line. Ms. Prochilo has taken description of abuse scenes to the next level as each and every scene was extremely realistic. Although I have never read anything by this author before, I will definitely be making myself familiar with her work. When We Meet Again is a book that you certainly don't want to miss out on.

If you're looking for a heartfelt story this is it. Brynn and Ethan were best friends in high school, soul mates, but life took them down difficult paths. Have you left a love behind and wonder if you could rekindle that love again? If so, then you must read this book. Sweet, heart-rending story told beautifully with a wonderful, sexy ending. Don't miss this original book you won't be able to put down.

FIrst I read "First Chance", which at the time I didn't realize was just like the prologue. So I got "When We Meet Again" and I enjoyed the first maybe 2/3 of it. But once Ethan and Brynn actually started their affair, something changed in the writing. It became juvenile and just poorly written. I guess it's my own fault for getting a book that's all about an affair. Oh well.

Wonderful story which shows the history, the angst, and ultimately the HEA these two people desperately need:)
