George Brown has a burping problem. In this installment, George alternates between hanging out with his new friends, Alex and Chris and joining a band with classmates; Louie, Max and Mike.
Give this one to those who like stories with fun fonts (think Geronimo Stilton), chapter books with illustrations or over the top exaggeration .

Summary-
George Brown is still attending his new elementary school with the Super Burp. This makes his life harder, especially when needed for a group project and talent show. George survived the burps again, but his adventures aren't over yet!

Review-
I think this series is very silly and dumb, but in a tolerable way. I am surprised to say that I look forward to reading the third installment. I like how it also slightly covers what happened in the previous book, in case you forgot. The artwork is same as before, fairly decent. The story this time around was far better than last time, but not enough to get it to 4 stars. I would recommend to anyone with a love for silly stories.

George Brown Class Clown is about a boy who is in elementary school and is trying to be normal, but every time he burps bubbles come out of his mouth. He then starts to lose control of his body as other strange things start to happen….this is when he completely goes berserk.

My favorite part was when he builds a volcano and it turns out wrong as he adds a whole batch of baking soda and vinegar. It was funny how the author describes the volcano explosion converting into a nasty liquid all over. George reminded of random things my friends have done. George was my favorite character, because he was the one that did all the funny things. However, there was a part in the book that disappointed me, this was when he tried to be normal and do things he would never do otherwise. It is ok to be different. All the type of things George did, would be something I could see my friends or I do.

I would recommend this book to other students because it’s the perfect reading as everyone can relate with all the funny things he did. After reading the book I told my friends about it and immediately they started to read it and loved it. I like the ending because it had a nice firm ending. For all the fun life relating events, I rate this book a 6 because it was appealing to mostly boys and not all young people.

Asher (7yo) read. "It's about a silly boy that has a super burp. Whenever he burps he can't control his arms and his legs. The burp takes over. What happened when he first had the burp was when he was at an ice cream parlor and while he was drinking his root beer float he saw a shooting star. He wished on this star that he would make kids laugh but not get in trouble. But the star disappeared until he could finish his wish, and he only got the wish the first part.

My favorite part was when this super burp took over him when he was demonstrating a volcano and he put the whole bag of exploding powder in the volcano and the whole class got messy."

George Brown can't control his super burps. They make him do act crazy and out of control. While I don't enjoy reading about burps I think my 2nd and 3rd grade boys would find this series hysterical. This is a must for reluctant boy readers!

I'm very sad that I didn't like this book. I was really hoping for another "Katie Kazoo" but George doesn't learn anything - he just gets into trouble. I'm not impressed with this series so far & I'm afraid that I won't go past book 2.

Nothing really against this book, I just didn't see it as very good. The characters were likable enough, but it just wasn't my kind of book. I think it was alright though.

George Brown always knows there's going to be trouble when he feels a burp coming! I can see boys liking this series. Not strong in themes, but funny parts.
