Prophetic Wisdom

Rate this book
God does not measure time, He measures growth. How we respond to the prophetic word dictates what will happen to it and to us. Prophecy provides us with foresight into the mind and heart of God. We see what He sees and our life opens up to new developments. Without insight however, many prophetic words are relegated to words in a file. It is possible to live with a sense of promise but have small means of fulfillment. God's word changes us first and then works through us to provoke the faith required to take the necessary steps of alignment. Timing is more important than time in God's purposes. Enlightenment enables us to understand how the Lord loves to work in our lives so that we increase in grace and favor as we practice taking possession of the prophetic word. In this third book in the Prophetic Equipping series, Graham Cooke provides revelatory insights into how prophecy practically unfolds and combines that with intuitive observations into the process of spiritual development.

There is no way GC wrote this book.
How does one man can contain such wisdom and insight?! I become ecstatic at the thought that the Holy Spirit (HS) is speaking so definitively to me as I read it.
HS uses Graham to reach me and therein lays the very essence of this text - the Prophetic in action!

I have not encountered a book so full of wisdom that's based on a profound relationship with the Father in thirty years of ministry. I've marked up many paragraphs in each chapter and upon reviewing my highlights I feel like I am learning something new again.

It only took me three years to finish this book! A lot of this was my season of life, and I’m glad I waited - there was a lot in this book I don’t think I’d have been ready for.

While this book could use some editing, Graham Cooke had a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the prophetic. He has become one of my “book mentors” and makes me feel so much less alone. Though I don’t agree with all his theology, this is sound information on how to move in the prophetic, as well as what discipleship and road blocks may look like. This is also the third in a series.

One of the best parts of his writings are the exercises at the end of each section. The way to move in the prophetic is to practice (scary!) and I imagine he is a wonderful teacher. I hope to take one of his classes someday!

Heavenly. It took me a long time to read this book because I cherish his obvious divine inspired words. Often, I'd stop after a page or two and have to live in it. Other times I went back to reread over and over. I've sticky noted almost every page. Beautiful book!
