I think the only reason I actually finished this book was that it was short and my internet connection was down. Otherwise I would have happily abandoned it, and probably would have been happier if I had.
Admittedly, I wasn't the target audience for this book, but I found that it basically focused on male stereotypes (apparently men quite like barely clad women, I never would have guessed), repeating the same stereotypes over and over. It was also REALLY badly formatted, some sentences just not making sense because text had migrated there from another bit of the paragraph.
There was some interesting history of inventions, but the tone of the book was what I should have expected with a name like "ManVentions". Men like to drink, hit people and spit! A bit too lowbrow for me.
