The Crystal Ally Cards are a gemstone-based Oracle deck and book set. The guidebook contains metaphysicasl information on the 50 gemstones and crystals in the deck as well as affirmations, meditations, and exercises for personal growth, and using the cards for divination and healing tools.
this book gives a nice summary of basic gemstones and their healing properties. it is a nice supplement to 'the book of stones,' which she co-authored. this book delves into selecting your crystal allies, meditations, readings, and clearings.
I bought these cards because rather than sit down and read a book about cyrstals I decided to buy oracle cards instead. I love this deck and the very comprehensive book it comes with. The images are computer generated. They aren't the most beautiful images but they get the message across which is the point. The meanings are very thorough. It begins with telling you (for approx. a page and a half) about the image and a how it relates to the cyrstal - this sort of reads like a lesson to reflect upon. Then there is a shorter card message (about two or three paragraphs) followed by what chakra the card/crystal relates to and an affirmation.
Not only are the messages in the book thorough but there are also some great card spreads to use. Naisha Ahsian also offers more information about cyrstal resonance therapy - sharing her knowledge of cyrstals and how to use them.
Though I love this deck, it takes quite a bit of commitment to use them. Finding the card meaning in the book can be frustrating. Not listed alphabetically they are grouped into elements (identified by the border on the card). But once you get the hang of what element is what it becomes easier. On a more pracitcal note the cards are quite large but also fairly thin. I think these could become much easier to use without losing the impact of the images if they were smaller.
But this is a fantastic deck and it did help me to learn more about crystals in general.
The cards are usually right on for me. I like the "lesson" on each of the crystals and the message of what drawing this card means. I look at this book at least 3-4 times a week.
