This book discusses the value of the commitment of traders report highlighting the significance of the position of commercial traders relative to open interest. I expect the data is widely used by automated traders now, so I am not confident it is directly tradable although it might be. The book feels a bit dated but genuine, as such, it is probably one of the better books on the topic of the markets.

Great book for commodities trading. Not much information about stocks unless you are looking to trade index futures. Using the COT to get get an understanding of what the funds are doing will take time to figure out.
