A comparative text on various schools of ethics, both religious and non, this has quickly become a favorite to re-read and savor.

A really great introduction outlining the basics for anyone who is interested in ethics and morality. I read this book in 2004 and it really re-sparked a desire in me to learn more and more about this topic that has intrigued me since childhood.

It was a text book, but I felt the topics discussed were nicely laid out and very easy to understand, however I feel he left out a lot about each topic, that Huston Smith covers in his book World Religions.
