This is a coffee table style book chock full of photographs. Although it is not as in depth as a book about a specific peoples mythology, this book gives a pretty good overview.

The myths of the Aborigines of Australia are here, as are the myths of the people of Oceana (all those islands near Australia and Japan, in the southeast Pacific)

North American Indian myths make up a whole section and includes the Inuit tribes of what is now Canada.

The final third is the South and Central American mythologies of the Mayan, the Aztec and the Incas.

This book is part of a set, the other two being Classical Mythology, and Old World Mythology. If you love mythology, these are nice books for the big picture and overview.
