This was an excellent book and helped me understand the dynamics with my sisters. I read this book back in the 1980's. I gave it away. I wish I still had it.
A couple of days a go I read this book and it was very mind lifting. It's a quick read about the feelings of adult children who grew up with alcoholic parents. I recommend this book to anyone who is an adult child of an alcoholic, somebody who wants to do research over this topic or somebody who just wants to learn about it. I found it very helpful in my own life, helping me understand why I feel the way I do and act the way I do because I grew up with a father who was an attic. This book isn't to understand why parents become attics, but to understand the actions and feelings of adult children.
