I read this book with my granddaugher Haley in Gran's Book Club. She is a more reluctant reader. I chose this book because she is all into fairies right now. It did captivate her! She enjoyed it -- which -- after all is the best recommendation I can give. As for my review, it is not a favorite children's book style or topic for me.

My daughter read this book today and wanted to put it on goodreads. "It started with Rachel and Kirsty riding horses and then they see a squirril and a bird singing. It was really cool. I thought it was so cool to see how the girls find the pony and Jack Frost gets pets. I loved how the pony looked, too."

I give the book one star. It is a cute, quick read for girls.

I thought it was very good. The ending was my favorite part because they found Penny and her pony, Glitter. They each got charm bracelets in fairy land with all the pet fairies on it. I loved it.

Jack Frost came and tried to get Penny the Pony Fairy away and take the pony for his pet. But when Penny's Pony refused to get close to the ducks, the ducks started pecking at Jack Frost's legs and one of the ducks wanted to be Jack Frost's pet. Jack Frost and his pet duck came to like each other in the end and that was the whole reason Jack Frost took the pet fairy's pets because he wanted one of his own. I hope that the pet fairy's pets will bring one of the lost pets to me like they did to the other people in the books.

This fairy is really cute and her wings are purple, my favorite color. All the other pets that belong to the fairies can get really small. The pony is the same size as the fairy and the mane is purple.

maggies review: "i liked the pony, and I really like the fairy books. I wish I had all of them and I am glad the pony had friend ponies that she just met. I am glad they got the pony back from the goblins in the end."

There was a pony and jack Frost got her and named her icicle which was Penny's pony. He froze up the lakes and the geese were pecking at it and they were mad at jack frost. Soon enough the geese became his pets.

Again some critiques can be made but overall this book of 67 pages is pretty good. It’s had a satisfying end and is a cute story. Great for girls which love ponies and fairies. It’s a good 7 book series for girls to get into reading.

Jack Frost wants a pet but in Fairyland the pets are all sentient and choose their owners themselves. Jack Frost steals all the pets from the Pet Fairies; not only are the fairies sad but they cant do their job protecting lost and homeless pets on Earth. Fortunately, the pets escape to the village of Wetherbury where Kirsty lives and Rachel is staying for one week of holiday. The series ventures to some local areas (like the park and neighbours) and also to Strawberry Farm, the stables, the Spring Show etc.

There are seven Pet Keeper fairies and they are: Katie the Kitten Fairy, Bella the Bunny Fairy, Georgia the Guinea Pig Fairy, Lauren the Puppy Fairy, Harriet the Hamster Fairy, Molly the Goldfish Fairy and Penny the Pony Fairy.

"Fairies with their pets I see,

And yet no pet has chosen me!

So I will get some of my own,

To share my perfect frosty home.

This spell I cast, its aim is clear:

To bring the magic pets straight here.

Pet Keeper Fairies soon will see,

Their seven pets living with me."

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Jack Frost was in the book, he was a bad Goblin, he really wants to steal Penny's horse, but Penny's horse is just so cute for him to steal. In the end he got a pet goose.

No wonder Jack Frost wanted to steal Penny's horse, because its so cute.

I love this book. I recommend it. It is 5 out of 5 for me.

I liked it because it had horses in and the fairy is really beautiful and she tries to find her horse but Kirsty and Rachel find it. People do not know the secret of the fairies.

I was never a horse girl in elementary school (I didn't take things that far) but I definitely thought they were cool
