‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’, By Lady Bird Picture Books
A classic story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three bears’. One of my all time favorites! This story is about a little girl called Goldilocks who comes across a little empty house while wondering the woods. Being nosy Goldilocks enter the house where she finds three bowls of porridge, three chairs and three beds. After eating baby bears porridge, breaking his chair she goes upstairs for a nap in baby bears bed. Soon after, the bears return only to find her fast asleep in baby bears bed. A brilliant story for children in early years, Key stage one and two. The illustrations and the repetitive language make it exciting, engaging and a wonderful read. This book can stimulate the basis of conversational and can be linked with many cross curricular subjects such as English, application of phonics, PSHE, drama, geography. Additionally, the story holds good morals, teaching children to respect other people’s privacy as well as property.
