Rainbow Magic features differing groups of fairies as main characters, including the Jewel fairies, Weather fairies, Pet fairies, Petal fairies, and Sporty fairies.
Narinder Dhami was born in Wolverhampton, England on November 15, 1958. She received a degree in English from Birmingham University in 1980. After having taught in primary and secondary schools for several years she began to write full-time. Dhami has published many retellings of popular Disney stories and wrote the Animal Stars and Babes series, the latter about young British girls of Asian origin. She lives in Cambridge, England with her husband and cats.
Sue Bentley was born in Northampton, England. She worked in a library after completing her education and began writing for children once her own began school. Bentley is the author of the Magic Kitten, Magic Puppy, and S Club series and lives in Northamptonshire.
Linda Chapman has written over 50 children's fiction books, including the following series: My Secret Unicorn, Stardust, Not Quite a Mermaid, and Unicorn School. She lives in Leicestershire with her husband and daughters.
Sue Mongredien was born in 1970 and grew up in Nottingham, England. She has published over 100 children's books, including the following series: The Adventures of Captain Pugwash, The Magic Key, Frightful Families, and Oliver Moon. She has also contributed many titles to the Sleepover Club series and written picture books. Mongredien created the Royal Ballet School Diaries under the pen name Alexandra Moss. She lives with her family in Bath, England.

I would love to have more sleepovers

I liked this book because it was one of the special edition books for the Rainbow Magic collection. In the special edition books the fairies are the leaders of the fairy groups, and they also have to find three of the magic objects. In this book the magic objects are the magic snack box, the magic sleeping bag, and the magic game bag. All the fairies only have three magic objects. -by Felicity

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Another fairy book my daughter and I finished and this one was done in a couple hours!!! She loves the special edition ones because she gets excited to find all the letters through the book and unscrambling them. This was also a great one because what child wouldn't love a sleepover in a museum?! Overall another good fairy book and can't wait to see which one she chooses next. (We don't really read them in any particular order, just whatever she is in the mood for.)

January 2, 2025Rachel and Kristy are having a sleepover at the museum. but Selena the sleepover fairy tells them that the goblins are causing trouble again. Selena told them that the goblins took Selena’s three magical objects. Rachel and Kristy are going to help Selena find the objects. This book is really good. I don’t really like fairies but when I read this I started to like fairies and I read more books of the series.

A great extension to the Rainbow Magic series. The language is slightly more advanced to assist young readers in improving their reading abilities.

We stumbled upon this series at the library, and my girls loved it. I read this entire book to them in one day, and they immediately wanted to go back to the library to get more. I especially liked how the main characters in the book are respectful to their parents and older people, which is rare in children's stories.

This is the best rainbow magic book I've read.
Five out of five for me.
Sleepovers are inportent to me because I don't get them that often so reading books about it brings back memories of them.
Its very easy to read this book (because it's an eary readers rainbow magic book).

It's way below my reading level and that's why I didn't like it that much.
For a younger girl, it would be great.

My first Rainbow Magic book! This series flies off the shelves in the library and is just right for early chapter book readers. Cute!

I liked it when Jack Frost was frightended by a shadow as he though it was a spooky monster who was trying to catch him.

This is 1 of my favourite Rainbow Magic books! I just love the setting so much! The goblins were really funny, and so was Jack Frost when he ran away after seeing the ‘scary’ shadow😂
