This was a wonderfull story as well as being an extremely hot read. The scene on balconey between Simon and Gwen was unforgetable. I have read this a few times and what I come away with the most(besides some physical feelings I will keep to myself!) is how Simon shows Gwen how to accept her sexual needs and to not be ashamed of them. I really enjoyed it, as I have enjoyed all of Ms. Colbert's writing.

This was the third book from [author Gillian Colbert] that I read. And I have to say, I think I liked this the best. I loved how she brought back characters that we had met and fell in love with in Forbidden Fruit.

Simon, from the first book in this series, finds himself with a HOT new neighbor. Gwen, the new neighbor, is still avoiding men after her last relationship - one that involved having a master. Can Simon pursuade her to give him a chance? Or can they just be neighbors?

This book definitely makes me want to have a neighbor by the name of Simon... And if someone ever goes as far as to mention that childhood game to me again "Simon Says", I might turn red. I would love to play, but not the childhood version...

This is the third novella that I've read from Gillian Colbert and I'm happy to say it doesn't disappoint, either. It's a really sexy story but it's also balanced with real emotion. There's insecurity, doubt and real passion. I love learning the back story of both characters, especially Gwen's past. Even though it's a short read, I feel like I really get to know the characters. I love how Gillian switches point of view between Simon and Gwen as well. The romance is natural, too. It doesn't feel forced like in other novellas/novels. I recommend reading Forbidden Fruit before checking this one out.

Wish it was longer ... Could totally see where it can be dragged out on ... But it was a sweeter romance not much in the whole BDSM scene, more just power exchange of who is in control.

I quoted this line below, especially for those reading my review, to imagine this scene:
“She gasped and leaned into him, moaning softly as she did so. Her head fell to one side, giving him greater access to the delicate skin along her shoulder. Simon licked along her collarbone before nipping gently.”

The spice level of this book can burn your tongue.

He is the stranger who lives next door to her, so you can imagine all the heat that they can bring. Simon stops having intimacy with other ladies because he wants a woman who does not give in to his needs, while Gwen has avoided men since her disastrous relationship. This couple is a mix of innocence and seduction, wrapped in a delicious package.

And slowly, the heat turned into something deeper and more romantic, where Simon chatted online with Gwen, understanding her past relationship, and he fell in love with her. Well, I’m sure you can guess whether Gwen falls for Simon too! If you’re looking for an erotic read that turns into a meaningful connection, this book is for you.

A really sweet story with Simon from 'Forbidden fruit'

What a great second book to Forbidden Fruit. I really enjoyed the romance that both the characters had for one another. I also really liked that she was hiding some secrets that she felt like she could not share at first. Really like how they incorporated Marlie and Adon into it and gave me even more to their story. I also really liked the ending to this story.

I really liked Simon and how different he was in this book and how much more mature he was. Simon was really romantic while having a dominating side to him. I like my men in control and he was defiantly in control. Even though he was he was still looking out for Gwen.

This author ROCKS!!! Again another short story well written with smooth writing and great flow. I am becoming a HUGE fan of this author. Please tell me you are writing more??? If you are looking for a really good short story you have to look into this author. The story is really good.

I really like this book - true it could be that I disliked the book I read just before this one so much that it tainted my view... But still, I think it's a solid book. The fact that the author is sharing this book for free made me push this up to 5stars. I've paid for a lot worse! The author has 3/4 books for free... And I'm going tp read them all!

The book is listed as a BDSM book and the cover leads it to seem really erotic but it's nothing of the sort. If anything I'd list this as a sweet book but short. I'd like to read more of their story! Even nonBDSM fan would enjoy this book... Maybe more so than the typical BDSM fans because it's so lite.

Good, but not as good as her other book. This one is a continuation of "Forbidden Fruit". It's very nicely executed. The story is good. The build up to the sex is hot and steamy! You won't be disappointed in that department.

The only real problem I had with this book were the editing mistakes. Occasionally there were misspelled words. More often than I could tolerate, there were words completely missing and I had to fill in the blank with the logical word. Then there were a few places where something went seriously wrong, and I had to eject myself from the story to try to figure out what the author was trying to say. But ... it was free, so I can't complain too much.

I thoroughly enjoyed this short read. I did not read the first in this series and didn't feel like I missed anything because of it. I would say this is definitely stand alone if don't want to read both. I appreciated the approach the author took with regards to the MC having been, for all intents and purposes, slut-bashed by her ex because she liked a little bit of kink. Although this is a very short story I loved that there was an emotional connection to the characters as Gwen tried to come to terms with her wants and desires and at the same time accept the fact that it doesn't mean anything is wrong with her.

Once again, I'm just going to say that Gillian writes the only short stories that I can actually get into. She manages develop characters within the story and create an interesting plot with hot sex scenes. And of course I have to say that I LOVE Monster. What a cute little addition - one that made me smile.

Very hot. And also interesting to read. This is a sequel to Forbidden Fruit and once again the fact that is book is a short story didn't bother me. It didn't feel rushed or forced or fake.
Simon and Gwen were interesting characters. I liked Gwen's back story.
And once again the sex is very very hot with a hint of BDSM.

Cute story, light domination, about a woman Gwen who has moved to a new house and discovers she has a hot neighbour Simon. After a hot evening she gets doubts about her self and runs. But Simon won't take no for an answer. A few editorial errors but it's for free.
