Sometimes the only difference between success and quitting in creative writing is encouragement. Same goes for publishing a book. Often, as "the writer", you have to muster it up yourself. How To Eat An Elephant provides a big does of encouragement using quotes & Scriptural principals and verses. You will enjoy it even if you are not "the writer" and never intend on publishing a book. Go for it!

A nice little book of encouragement for the aspiring writer, or anyone with a set of goals to tackle.

I am not religious so I really could not get into it, BUT I can see how it would be inspirational to those who are.
