A generally good collection of facts, but frustratingly not categorised in any particular order. Another point to note was that on researching a number of facts, there were quite obvious spelling errors.
This book was a good interlude between the full length books that I was reading concurrently. I wouldn’t have paid for this book and I only read It because it was part of my Kindle Unlimited Subscription.
I love filling my brain with pointless facts since I’ve started frequenting trivia nights at bars. This book truly had more obscure facts than most. About 80% of the book were indeed things I didn’t know.
i found this book to be very informative and interesting! i enjoyed the lighthearted and informal style of the book! would recommend this book to other readers!
I question the veracity of some of the facts stated in this book* but it was a lot of fun to share some of the more interesting things with my parents as I read.
*The book claims the average American eats ten pounds of marshmallow per year. However, it's estimated that Americans buy 90 million pounds of marshmallow per year, and the population of the U.S. is something around 310 million. The math doesn't work.
