Tara Clarkson has been searching for her missing sister, Alice, until the night she turns up with two large sexy alien men in tow.
Now Tara is pissed as hell after being abducted herself. Alice and her alien husband promise to return her to Earth on their next trip.
Melron is fun, playful, sexy as hell and determined to persuade her to be his. After arriving on Planet Kelon, Melron formulates a plan to get her under his roof and into his arms.
But can Tara, resist the hunky alien warrior determined to win her heart by any means, or will she be able to leave him and return to Earth?
I am a full time mother and part time writer. I live in a small country town in Victoria Australia. I have been writing ever since I learned to read, and almost endlessly drifting off into the fantasy world of my imagination.
Thankfully, I have a great group of supporting writer friends; a husband and three; currently small children who help keep me grounded.

This review is from: Tempting Tara: Warriors of Kelon Book 2 (Kindle Edition) This is my second book by this author as I thought I'd give her another go. Yes you have probably guessed that I wasn't jumping up and down with excitement last time but that's because I do prefer a longer read for my money. Thought I'd give her another go as I do realise that the publishers usually set the prices for ebooks and not the authors. This is a fun and sexy read about Tara who somewhat unwillingly is on her way to the planet Kelon to be with her sister and hopefully find the alien of her dreams. Melton (known as melon head!) wants to be that alien! He desires Tara and will stop at nothing to convince her she will be beyond delirious if she agrees to spend her life with him! Tara is so attracted to him but as an independent human female there is no way she will give in! Or is there? This is a quick and satisfying read. Lots of fun and more than a little naughtiness but that's what readers of this genre want! Well done Ms. Castle and more please but maybe more words next time ?! Comment Comment | Permalink
This is a quick, short book, although a little longer than the first one, 'Abducting Alice'. They are funny as well as smexy. I will be sticking with this little series, I am sure.
This one starts a few months after geologist Alice is abducted from Earth to be sold as a smex slave, but is rescued by the hunky, and loving Kelons. Alice returns to Earth with her new hubby Kerr, and kidnaps her sister Tara, who hasn't found a worthwhile relationship on Earth. Alice is now pregnant, and wants her sister to be with her, as well as for Tara to find her own happiness.
I liked the story, the H, the action, but unfortunately, I disliked Tara almost every time she opened her mouth, or I would've rated this higher.
I am not a fan of overly 'feisty' and constantly crude-speaking females, and Tara was one of these (in spades). I really wanted her to just STFU! most of the time, she was so annoying! I hope Ms. Castle tones down the next female to be more realistic - a very little of this smart-ass, crude heroine business goes a looooooong way! Some is ok, but this was just over the top.
I bought this as a Kindle book at Amazon.com... the price is the same as the price at Whiskey Creek Press, where I got Book 1.
Yeah, not sure why I expected this one to be better than the previous one really. Wishful thinking probably.
Again, there is no character development in this book. Insta-love, yet there is some more attempt at drama in this book than the previous, but it totally fails because the H is again way too damn sure of himself. And the insta-love makes the heroine's attempts to defy the hero seem childish and ridiculous. And of course everything goes exactly the way everything was planned. NO drama whatsoever, largely due to the fact that the characters are so one-dimensional.
More smut from Kelon... Alice with her mate, his brother Melron and their troops visits Earth to warn the human governments about the Federation and their wish to steal women from Earth to be sold as breeding slaves. Some women chose to go with the warriors, but not Tara, Alice's sister, who is taken along. Melron, even though in charge of women's safety, is entranced by Tara and wishes for her to become his mate. Tara though wishes to return to Earth and live her life of freedom and independence of any man. Does she stay on Kelon, can Melron get her heart, or does she go back to Earth... Well for that best us to read the book.
3 1/2 stars because I was not a fan of Tara she was more a pechalent child than bad ass adult. Like the series Can do without the narrator's attempt at an Australian accent but will go through all the books available on Audible escape. Love me some devoted aliens that think licking pussy is life's greatest pleasure.
I am very loosely applying the "capture fantasy" label to this book, since technically it was Tara's sister Alice (from Abducting Alice) who kidnapped her.
Tara is the proverbial bratty younger sister to sensible and generally reliable Alice. Imagine her shock when Alice appears with several large hunky aliens and tells her story of alien abduction! This entry in the Warriors of Kelon reads like a spoof of Star Trek. With the hokey dialog of the original series (yes, I do mean Captain "over acting" Kirk and his highly emotive crew) and the reworked Klingons of the Next Generation (anyone else have a thing for Worf?).
Tempting Tara is fun, silly, predictable, and sexy. I really could have done without the nicknames used in this book however. Melron calls Tara "my pretty" reminding me of Gollum on a pirate ship, and Tara calls Melron "baby" - completely destroying his alpha image in my eyes. However, I will give the author points for one of the best analogies I've ever read, "Clinging to him like an octopus on caffeine,....."
I just couldn't warm up to Tara. In the first book, she's so mean to her sister Alice. Then all of a sudden when Alice goes missing, she's all sad and looking for her.
When Melron, Alice and Krell take Tara with them, she freaks out and demands to go home to Earth. She refuses to get to know Melron and keeps calling him "Melon".
When the insta-love happens, I just found it implausible.
I am enjoying this as a fun, sexy, light weight alien/human series. Tara and Melron were great together, although I did think Tara changed her mind from No to Yes in too much of a hurry, but otherwise, it was all good. I love how possessive the men are and I am definitely looking forward to reading Syl and Rachel's story.
I thought this one was kind of boring. I liked Cara's thought process, but even I got a little annoyed with her actions after a while. I loved her responses to his "macho man" actions, but some parts I was just like "give the guy a break, he is trying here." I liked the first one more than this one, then again I usually am not a fan of the second book in series, so it wasn't uncommon for me.
Better than the first one of the serie. Tara the heroin has been taken from earth by her sister, and fall in love with a hunky alien. all is there, and even if there is no surprise, I liked the end of this book and want to read the next !
