The end is finally upon us in Nicki J Marcus' Time Keepers four-part series and I am pleased to say that it was well worth the wait.

In part one, Running Blind, we learn that there is a world where werewolves, witches and vampires have come out into the open regarding their existence and a young man, Nick, has a chance encounter with Ellie, who is on the run from someone. We are left wondering if this change encounter will cause a problem for Nick, who has his own secrets to keep.

The Beast Within, is part two of Time Keepers. After their chance encounter and narrow escape, Nick and Ellie are on the move again trying to avoid the pursuing Governor and Time Keepers, but this time Nick’s secret is out. Will they be able to keep under the radar or is their time up?

We began part three Consequences with Nick and Ellie becoming cornered and captured by the Governor and his goons. They duo are separated and it appears to be up to Nick to get them out before Ellie succumbs to the will of the Governor and before any of the Governor’s resources are used on him.

In the final installment of the Time Keepers saga titles Timings, we find that time is running out for Nick. He begins his attempt to escape and find Ellie with the help of some fellow captives. Will he make it to Ellie in time? Can he defeat the Governor and his lackeys? Or will time run out?

Well, I may have briefly complained about have to wait between each release of this saga, but has been well worth the wait. Nicki J Markus has once again captured my attention and kept it. The characters stayed likable or unlikable as is the case of the Governor and his minions. I was pleased with the ending, especially a certain aspect that I actually did not see coming. I would definitely be interested in reading more from this world. Maybe a bit of a beginning as to how the Time Keepers came to be and how the various "creatures" of this world began to become accepted.
