Things get complicated when he's told, “Leave your current op in the Congo, get to London ASAP, and kill your boss.”
Complicated, because not only is that boss the billionaire mastermind and founder of the Raven Force, he's also the father of the woman Tanner has loved—on the QT—for a dozen years.
Laine Derek doesn't know all the details of her father's role in the Raven Force. She's been too busy overseeing his global business interests, but she does know that Tanner Cross was trouble back in the day--and seriously doubts he's changed. When she hears he's coming to London, she takes a personal interest in her father's security. For Tanner Cross to get near her beloved father, he'll first have to get through her.
Tanner doesn't see that as a problem.

Her father hires SpOps to kill himself, neither is willing to let the old man die

Agent Tanner Cross is a member of Raven Force, a covert organization working with several governments on various black ops. Tanner does what he can to make the world a better place, with lethal consequences of the bad guys. But this latest mission is doing a number on him..The Ravens founder has asked him to kill...him!!!
Tanner is now in a quandary, not only is this guy his boss but he's also the father of his teenage crush!! Laine Derek runs her fathers billion dollar business easily but she knows when he's keeping secrets! But when she meets Tanner at the airport she knows their is something going on and she is determined to find out what!!
Tanner is a hero with a heart and is doing his bet to keep everyone happy. With many layers of deception going on this is a short but awesomely well written story!!!!!
