A very good part 2. Takes place 4 years later and the shit hits the fan!!!! Although in the first book they were kids, Tricey felt as if she was very much in love with Taij in addition to that she was pregnant. She was devastated when her mother forced her to have an abortion so far along in her pregnancy, but was even more devastated when she finds out the hard way that betrayal only comes from ones you love or are very close to.
Good read. I felt Vic was wrong to hide her relationship from Tricey knowing how she needed answers concerning Taij's disappearing act. Lyric seemed to allow her life to become messy with her men. Tricey seemed to be just going through the motions with her relationships, unable to completely comes to grips over Taij'. This series Iseems to become more interesting as new characters are introduced & the girls venture into their college years.
I usually don't leave a review until the end of the series but that chick Victoria made me so mad in this book. Like how could you do that to Tricey? There's no justifying any of it. I really think Tricey got something up her sleeve. Well on to the next one....
It's a good thing that the characters in the series are growing up, evolving, and experiencing life on life's terms. Let's see what the next installment holds.
