Jace and Catherine are preparing for the birth of twins, little realising the strain it will put on their relationship. A new Reverend at church, bullying at school and other seemingly normal domestic issues create misunderstandings and chaos in abundance. Lucy, Jace’s younger sister, forges ahead on a path beginning a dramatic chain of events that begin to unravel not only Catherine and Jace’s relationship, but Jace’s parents too. As always with the Destiny family, normal everyday things become convoluted and at times destructive, propelling the reader on another journey of broken promises, secrets, and enemies within.

I enjoy how Catherine and Jace approach day-to-day life with a smile and so much joy. Some may be bored with that but I was not because that is life and life is not to be taken for granted. Though there are issues to be dealt with by some of our favorite people which keeps the story interesting. I look forward to reading the last book in the series.
