Weldon Phillip Keller (1920-1997) wrote more than thirty-five books on Christian subjects, including his most popular book A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 The son of missionary parents in Kenya, Keller grow up in Africa before becoming a world citizen as a photographer, agronomist, and author. His books have over two million copies in print.
At one time it was common in the church to consider the body as almost abhorrent and essentially evil. It is not. It is God's gift to us as our earth house for our few years here. Let us treat it with gentle respect and gracious goodwill.
Published in 1980, this book is a practical guide on how to live in body and soul in communion with God. The author takes biblical themes and explores them in more depth for the everyday person wanting to have a closer relationship with the maker. He also provides self-care applications to better oneself. I really enjoyed this book and took away some key points to apply in my own life.
An excellent little book (only 160 pages) on how to walk close with God. When you read your Bible you find men and women who walked with the Lord. This book is very practical in showing how a Christian can walk with God.
