Long poems, rambling poems, gimmicky poems, excessively difficult / academic poems. Perelman likes a couplet in the morning.

getting criticism, particularly criticism focussed on capital and representation, to think compelling poetry is a tough one. Perelman does it here for about 30 pages, which is pretty amazing
