had to read for Concordia,, a Lutheran theology book. Seems like attempting to be reformed while still holding to Roman Catholic sacraments with a twist. Lots of Scripture misinterpreted and taken out of context. Gospel seemed solid in initial presentation but other distortions makes this a no-go for me. (like saying God is resistible, atonement isn’t limited, avoiding predestination, etc)

Very dry, but very informative. I guess you can't ask for much more from a textbook. Mueller is incredibly knowledgeable, and it shows as he uses precise language and organization in this Lutheran-influenced text.
