Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.
I 'm not gonna lie: there are two many stories, every one embbebed in each others and when you have already read half the book (or in my case, listened, as it was my first audiobook) you have forgotten many of them.
However, they are so fuckin' interresting, and full of magic, you can't get tired of them. Furthermore, the story of the the sultan , why he decides to kill each one of his wives and the story of Sherezaade and her sister are very interesting, and the story-teller uses a vocabulary and a way to tell stories that was very captivating. In general, all these stories are as old as time, and it generates an echo to out collective memory.
It is interesting to understand how much those arabian tales have influenced moderned literature. And what was more mesmerizing, they are so well known, that you think you already know the most popular ones. Then you discover that you were wrong. The original stories hide some details that are unknown and even better that the well-known version.
