Once upon a time there was a lovely booksite called Goodreads and you could trust them when they said your reviews would always remain your property. And that if you did not check the box allowing sharing, then the reviews wouldn't be shared. However, this has changed. All my reviews are being shared on Google Books and Google Play and Goodreads couldn't care less and Google don't even respond to emails. No action from them at all. Since it is only the first few lines that are shared, reviews will have a new introduction and the proper review will be in spoilers.

The Holy Piby was written or compiled by Robert Athlyi Rogers of Anguilla and it was immediately banned because of its controversial content. The book proclaims a new religion by the name Afro-Athlican Constructive Gaathly, the foundation for what in the following years would evolve into Rastafarianism. A main point in the book is that Ethiopians (in the Biblical sense this means all black africans) are the true, God-chosen people of the Bible, and this message found a large audience among oppressed labors in South America, Panama and in the U.S. Robert Athlyi Rogers of Anguilla founded the Afro Athlican Constructive Church. "And there appeared a light matchless in its beauty. Straightway the whole celestial host shouted and there appeared millions of Angels dancing in the light singing, 'Behold! Behold Ethiopia! the bride of the master. Her day has come at last! The Lord has received her hand. Her night has forever passed.'

The Lord stretched forth his hands over the earth and there appeared millions of black men, women and children, who joined with the angels in dancing, singing and rejoicing in the light.

Again did the Lord stretch forth his hands over Ethiopia and Canaan and the offsprings of Ham became mighty and the lands became prosperous in animals, fruits and grains. Great cities sprang up among them and the women as well as men mastered ships upon the waters."

An amazing piece of revelation from the birth period of the black consciousness movement.
