Phantom Pain

Rate this book
Daniel’s poetry is suffused with the imagery and symbolism of his lifelong interest in mysticism, mythology, philosophy and nature. The interweaving of the issues of contemporary existence with Gothic symbolism and naturalistic parallels lends his work a universal quality which relates on an intensely personal level all the wonderful seeming contradictions and contrasts that make us human.

I read some of Mr. Tucker's poems on Gather.com and was so impressed that I bought the book! This exceptional writer probes deep in the human psyche to reveal what makes us humans tick, without sounding stuffy.Dark and brooding yet full of revealing light which ends up lifting your spirits a little higher. His work is a cross between Poe and Blake, but it has an intriging twenty-first century feel. I rate it 10 by far!
