Luckily, this isn't the first book I have read of this author, otherwise I wouldn't have read her books anymore. This book, though, disappointed me.

Picked this up at a thrift store because I liked the cover. Wonderful story, so romantic and I love how it all concluded in the end! I wish the story was longer! I've re-read it so many times! 🥰 One of my gold bars to add to my book collection for sure

Dnf'd. Was well written and a good story, but I lost interest which just happens sometimes. Maybe I'll try it again at a later date.

I am really liking these Harlequin books by Ms. Rowell. However, I have just discovered that this is really not a series. There are five books that look to be part of a Harlequin monthly subscription? This is the second book and has no characters that relate to the first book. Also, this is a formula book and that is disappointing to me. Luckily the characters and the story make up for the sameness. Also, the suspense part is not so gruesome as that in the first book.
