First Century Event in Chronological Order: From the Birth of Christ to the Destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70

Rate this book
List of the major Jewish and Roman events of the first century related to Christianity. Focused especially on those events of the last 12 years before AD 70 which fulfilled endtime prophecy. Provides quotes and references to Josephus, Eusebius, Tacitus, Yosippon, and other ancient sources to document the fulfillment of all the events predicted in Matthew 24 and the book of Revelation. Shows when all the New Testament books were written, and the historical circumstances under which they were written. Dates the arrest of John (AD 62), his exile to Patmos, and the writing of the book of Revelation (AD 62-63). Also dates the second arrest of Paul and his martyrdom during the Neronic persecution (AD 64). Shows how Peter was involved in the collection and certification of the New Testament canon. This is a very important work of historical reconstruction, attempting to read between the lines and compose a carefully researched and educated guess as to WHAT happened, WHEN it happened, WHY it happened, WHO was involved in making it happen, and HOW it affected Christianity and fulfilled prophecy from a preterist perspective.
