About the author

Lisa Cole is a retired elementary school teacher. She is an avid sailor and kayaker and for the past several years she has been sailing and kayaking in the Chesapeake Bay and the Florida coast with her husband. From the first time she set sail with her father, as a young girl, she has been captivated by the lure of the sea.
