Complete screenplay of the cult classic - and more. Included are scenes from the original screenplay that did not appear in the final film, Alex Cox & Dick Rude's interview with a real repo man, and the cartoon by Alex Cox that started it all. Also a number of B&W stills from the film.
I remember the movie and it was better than the screenplay reads. The description of the action is crisp and visual. The dialogue, however, is not memorable and really bad in places. Been a while since I've seen the movie so not sure how closely it follows the screenplay. Be interesting to compare them now. The screenplay reads really corny, almost like a deliberately bad B-movie, and somehow the movie transcended that.
