Nostalgia...🥺🥺😌
***
I had stumbled upon this so randomly that I think that most probably the Fates led me to start reading these series. It's a series that continues to hold a special place in my heart, and I just had to bring you my full review of this epic saga. It was "the beginning", "the game-changer" and everything for me as it turned tables around for me. Trust me, I AM NOT exaggerating. (No spoilers, of course!)
"The Lightning Thief," "The Sea of Monsters," "The Titan's Curse," "The Battle of the Labyrinth," and "The Last Olympian" make up the first saga of Percy Jackson and the Gods of Olympus. These books, narrated by Percy himself, take us on a thrilling adventure that blends Greek mythology with modern-day events. It's this unique blend that sets Rick Riordan's creations apart, infusing them with a refreshing sense of innovation.
Let's just say the first two books serve as an introduction to our beloved characters, setting the stage for the wild and dangerous escapades that follow. From the third book onwards, we witness their growth in the face of increasingly perilous situations. It's in the fourth and fifth books where the true essence of the saga takes shape, and we get to witness the characters' evolution and maturity. Trust me, once you're immersed in the story, you won't be able to resist continuing until the final showdown. This is an action-packed adventure series with an excellent pace and the events unfold one after another, ensuring that you're constantly engaged and never bored.
And don't forget Riordan's trademark humour, which indeed adds a delightful and personal touch to the "drama" unfolding.
But amidst all the battles and encounters with gods, Riordan also delves into the emotional aspects of the characters, tugging at your heartstrings. These books encompass a wide range of themes that resonate with readers of all ages. The characters' sense of humour, sarcasm, grit, determination, hope, and little bit of hero streak, makes you glued to the series.
The world Riordan creates is a meticulously crafted masterpiece, leaving no detail unexplored. His narrative style and excellent descriptions are so vividly portrayed that they effortlessly come to life in your imagination. The way he intertwines the gods with humans and seamlessly incorporates Greek mythology is nothing short of magical and truly admirable.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a saga that I wholeheartedly recommend, and I will never tire of recommending it to everyone I meet. Once you dive into this enchanting world, created by the ingenious mind of Rick Riordan, you'll yearn to return and become a part of it. It's an adventure brimming with valuable life lessons and mythology, accompanied by unforgettable characters that will forever hold a place on your bookshelf.

(PS: Do not dare to skip out on Heroes of Olympus. It gets really much better in the upcoming series. You'd definitely love it more!... Sorry Percy Jackson series.)

Rick Riordans’s ‘’The Titans Curse ‘is very action-packed and thrilling book. It is a book that the whole family will enjoy. This book employs the virtue of teamwork and trust. It has a godly feel to it that will electrify your mind of shock. I highly recommend that other people with an interest in Greek mythology and action books read this book! It is very interesting and has something for everybody.
I like this book because it persuades teamwork. Every character has to work together and survive. I like this book style because it ties into Greek mythology and I love Greek mythology. I think the voice of the narrator is unique because he makes the characters come together so nicely. The characters are so vivid that they make me believe they are real. I think the characters are all pretty cool. This book gives me a ‘’oh,boy!’’ feeling from the words of Grover.
The setting of this book is excitingly dangerous. The characters of this book, because of their godly attributes have to perform horrible task. The setting of this story is so vivid that if I close my eyes I can smell the sea breeze. I can feel the godly power flowing through me. I can sense myself looking down from Mount Olympus and glaring.

This book is not so far apart from me. I have a emptiness of my dad just like Percy and Poseidon. We are both trying to find our way through life by himself. This book is also very shocking at the decisions of the characters. They will shock the reader and surprise. I recommend this book to all ages. It will teach anyone about how to work together.

In Rick Riordan's *Percy Jackson 5 Books Collection* and *The Demigod Files*, the author weaves a captivating narrative that masterfully blends fantasy and mythology. Through vivid imagery and well-developed characters, readers are drawn into a world brimming with adventure. Each character's distinct personality adds depth to the story, making it irresistible for readers to explore their journeys further.

Having first discovered these enchanting books upon their release, revisiting them now evokes the same thrill and excitement I felt initially. The fast-paced tale is infused with humor, delivering smiles amid the chaos. Each page turn brings exhilarating moments and unexpected twists, ensuring that the experience remains delightful for all who read it.

We read this book in book club. If you're going to read a book from a series it is best to read the first book in the series first. Percy Jackson is the "good guy" who has a love interest, named Anna Beth Chase. Anna Beth's mother is Athena- the Goddess of Wisdom. Percy wants to protect everybody. There is a new enemy in this one - the titan. We all loved the Greek Mythology, it's a good introduction to mythology but it would be helpful to have some prior knowledge in the area. We also liked the new and foreign words. It was more challenging than must children's books, we could compare the reading level to Harry Potter. The author does a good job of describing the characters, and uses all the senses. The author has a very good sense of humor. The story is also sensitive to environmental issues. The other criticism is that maybe too similar to the other books before it. It is also important to keep in mind that this is fantasy. Overall we would highly recommend this book to others.

10/10! Best Book Series ever! I have read all series by rick riordan and i am never disappointed. I love this series. It is my second time reading it and i still got goosebumps. I decided to re read it in preparation for the Disney+ Series, but then i found out that comes out in 2 years. Still reread it though. re-reading it, i noticed things i never did before; like, how gleeson hedge, a key character in Heroes of Olympus (the second series) is mentioned in the last olympian. I wanna say it was better reading it the first time, but that would be a lie. Reading it again, i remembered where i was in my life when i read these books the first time, so it was really nostalgic. Some of my favorite quotes include:

Minos: I'm the Lord of Spirits. The Ghost King!
Nico di Angelo: No... i am

Nico di Angelo: Youre... youre dionysus! the crazy wine dude

Nico di Angelo: With great power, comes great need to take a nap. wake me up later.

Poseidon: oh zeusy~~ youre forgetting something!
Zeus: ugh... and a special thanks to Poseidon, without whom it would be difficult-
Poseidon: difficult??
Zeus: impossible.. to defet the great monster typhon

Zoe: i can see the stars again m'lady (then she dies)

Pure nostalgia. Witty writing (maybe even cringy, but my 13yo self didn't care), relatable caricatures of greek mythology figures (and wasn't the whole point of Greek gods to reflect the mortals in their ways?), adventure, awkward comedic relief moments at every page. What more is there to want?

Growing up, it was always a really tempting notion that one would be called upon, you know.. to be brusquely told one is a closeted alter-human, to fulfill one's destiny of going off script and hotly pursuing the humanity-saving grail that has nothing to do with physics or Literature or Logarithms. Oh, alongside scripted life of the homework, grumpy teachers, not so exciting food and semi-cool friends (otherwise known as one's real life)
The Percy Jackson series came into my life at a time i was recovering from the deep void left by the completion of Harry Potter series and the unbearable betrayal of the cruelly short ride Eragon took me on, and the lack of Narnia in my e-com stocks. Not expecting much (I mean look at the American-looking covers), I picked up the Lightning Thief.... and found myself drawn deeper and deeper. I was taught the Greek Mythology in my childhood and as a huge fan of greek tragedy, drama and hot Gods progeny (Troy anyone) this book is essentially a modern day version Harry Potter meets Greek Mythology meets most hollywood productions i saw over the decades. Its pleasant, easy, flows nicely, makes for an interesting way to (re-)introduce greek mythology in your life. Give it a go. Best part is that it comes in a series. And is pretty child-friendly. Go on, it doesn't bite. Or suck.

When my mother bought the book, I wasn’t

I read these books in elementary school and they shaped my love of reading and gave me a love of mythology. I was instantly hooked and read all the other books Rick Riordan has written. I will never stop loving this series. The characters were well written and the author made them seem like actually people rather than words on a page. The relationship between Percy and Annabeth was beautifully written. I was so shocked at first when they kissed in book 4. When I was reading the Last Olympian, I was thinking ‘just kiss her already, ya Seaweed Brain!!’. I love his other books, I read the Lost Hero before this, but it felt like I was missing something. These books have helped make me the person that I am today. Thank you, Rick Riordan.

I love the Percy Jackson books because they include epic adventures of all ages. The Percy Jackson series is a masterpiece of modern mythology and fantasy. The plot is really engaging. What makes Percy Jackson timeless, though, is how effortlessly it tackles deeper themes—finding your identity in a confusing world, embracing your differences, and the importance of friendship and loyalty. Percy may be a demigod, but his struggles and triumphs feel universal. His courage, kindness, and resilience are inspiring, making him a hero that readers of all ages can look up to.The books teach you important lessons in life. For example it’s brought up the idea that you’re not alone and there’s always someone who could understand how you feel.

I really like these books. I like the way they're written, I like the sense of adventure to them and I like the characters.
I love that it brings in the Greek Gods - what a brilliant way to learn about them and some of the myths involving them. Medusa, the labyrinth, Olympia, the cyclops, the minotaur - it's brilliant!
I really like the main group - Percy, Annabeth and Grover, you feel like you're on the adventures with them and really want them to complete their missions.
Great, great descriptions and opportunities for writing - links to Greek myths and Gods, setting descriptions, adventure recounts.

Love it. I just finished this book again. There are many series in the Percy Jackson series in this order. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Trials of Apollo. The Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard happen at the same time so you need to read them at the same time. But The Trials of Apollo is longer it and is still going on. There are also add ons to each series.

This series has influenced me more than I can describe, I’m not sure who I would be without it. It sparked my interest in mythology, carried me through all my darkest moments and continues to inspire me in every facet of my life. I owe so much of myself to these books, I can still remember when I picked up the first one and to this day I can’t fathom a life without knowing Percy. He’s my truest friend and my greatest hero.

This series caught my attention from the get go and I read all five books with an insatiable appetite. An interesting connection between modern day society and Greek mythology keeps the reader wondering where the adventure will lead next. I highly recommend this series to any reader who enjoys adventure and diversity in characters.

Re-reading the PJO series was one of the best decisions I made this year. I read them for the first time over a decade ago—it was the series which kickstarted my love of reading. And now, so many years later, I can still say this is one of the best written series, stories, and characters I’ve ever read.

I read these back in 7th grade and I have not stopped rereading them since. I know they are old and definitely for young kids but I love this series so much and the trails Percy goes through are so harrowing. Percy and Anabeth are perfect for each other. There is something so magical about this series. I forever wish I could go to camp half-blood.

Rick Riordan is an amazing author
Percy Jackson was a character of a bed time story for his son, Hayley as for he has dyslexia and by making it a book it might help him read better. And so he made the Percy jackson books series and stuff.
