This was an incredibly quick read, but a fun one. None of the tales really read like folk tales that I have heard before, but rather felt like a collection of anecdotes from a life lived in Cape Cod. The author admits to having written some of these herself (whole-cloth) as opposed to finding them through more traditional sources, but regardless of the origin of the tales, they were entertaining and I'm glad that I had the chance to read them.
