I read more than half of the book and simply couldn't bear it anymore. To be honest, I struggled to see the point of the continuous verse hopping, the author jumps from one context to another without building a solid theology or idea about holiness. It felt more like a collection of disjointed quotes rather than a structured study.
Furthermore, the writer constantly pushes the narrative that non-denominationalism is the ultimate solution to all ecclesial problems, ignoring the fact that this approach often lacks the historical and patristic depth needed for a true understanding of the faith. Finally, the way he uses typology in an overly individualized way as it turns the grand narrative of salvation into a mere 'self-help' manual for personal spiritual experiences, stripping the text of its original Christological richness.

Beautiful indeed!

I will admit I felt it lacking the fluidity of Derek Prince but I found him in there between the writing styles of those compiling this book (from his notes, speaking engagements, lectures, etc). It is very powerful and enlightening and a must read by all seeking the deepest fellowship humanly possible with our Lord. I will read it again and again. I hope you read it too!

I enjoyed this book, it is challenging but well written and easy to understand. If you want to draw closer to God this book will help to explain the need for holiness in serving the Lord.

A must read. I have read it several times and still God reveals it to me differently all the time.
