The plot:A Boeing 777 arrives at JFK carrying the of dead bodies of all the passengers and the crew. It falls upon Dr. Ephraim "Eph" Goodweather, head of their Canary project, a rapid-response team that investigates biological threats, to solve the mystery. With each new clue unearthed, he finds himself drawn into a battle of mammoth proportions as a virus spreads through the city, turning it's population into vampires. He is helped by Abraham Setrakian, a former professor and Holocaust survivor, who is the only person who knows how to fight the evil force.
