The Good: These four stories were fun, cute romances. Much like Hallmark Channel telefilms, each one featured two people who went from not knowing/liking each other to falling in love. The fact that all of them took place in a distant country added to the appeal; I had to remind myself of the setting when they mentioned that winter was on its way soon after Easter. Instead of four separate accounts, each of these stories tie into one another, which makes it feel like a TV series. Fans of Christian romance should be pleased.
The Bad: One of the stories went on too long, while the last one was so brief it felt like one of those really short films. Also, the stories didn't utilize their setting as well as they could have. That's all the complaints I have, though.
Conclusion: Despite its problems, I moderately enjoyed this collection of four romance stories from the land down under. As long as you're not expecting anything mind-blowing, you should as well.
I just could NOT get into this book. Unfortunately I didn't finish it because of that. It was simply too preachy and uninteresting for me. I have so many books that I want to read that this seemed like a waste of time for me to invest that much time in finishing all of them.
Read a long time ago but very well put together. Mary has a way of telling the story and bringing the reader into the picture. Enjoyed all of her books thus far. Looking forward to the new ones she brings out.
