LOVER BOY IS DYING TO COME OUT AND PLAY.

The rules: Two weeks before he intends to slowly and sadistically kill his prey, Loverboy sends a collage of the future crime scene to the FBI. If the agents can solve the riddles of the collage in time, they can save the victim. Loverboy thinks that’s more than fair. It’s not his fault the feds have already failed five times.

The players: Rosalind Carnow was last seen alone in her Las Vegas hotel room. No one knows where she is now—except Loverboy, and he’s not saying a word. Imogen Page, an FBI agent with a painful past and uncertain future, may be the only person who can find her—and she is determined to decipher Loverboy’s brilliant but deranged puzzle. If Loveboy lets her get that far.

The game: Imogen matches wits with a homicidal mastermind, a fiercely intelligent opponent. Armed with her extraordinarily keen sense for detection, she must do for Rosalind what could not be done for Loverboy’s previous victims: save her life.

I don’t often read thrillers but I really enjoyed this one. I liked the way there were moments from the killer’s POV without giving away too much. It kept me guessing right until the end. I also enjoyed Imogen as a main protagonist. The way she thinks and goes about the investigation was intriguing.

Wow... I have to say I have read a lot of different books but this one had me guessing. I had it narrowed to 3 people by the middle but one was always the top of my list. The author keeps you guessing and even throws in quite a few misdirects. Their is a touch of romance but most of the story revolves around Loverboy.

Great read, a mystery builds until the wrap up conclusion. The romance was ehh in my opinion a little like sexual frustration then bam I love you n have sex. This is a book you would definitely by for the mystery not romance and not be disappointed.

The main character the FBI special agent Page has an unique talent of her brain interpreting things in certain flavors. Different but ehh it worked. Then you have the million dollar handsome charming Benton who provides Imogen with sexual frustration along with his contacts to keep the case going.

Rosalind Carnow is in the hands of Loverboy and it is up to Imogen to figure out his collage before the 2 weeks are up and she dies.

What a twist?! I thought it's really Benton Arbor. Well, that makes it a suspense.
Those parts of Professor Kidd always crept the hell out of me. I imagined her as the old lady in the "Drag Me To Hell" movie. Then, that gave me thrill.

All in all, t'was good. Really good.

It was ok. Did not enjoy the ending since it ended like a novel from a series should. Annoying. The author did a good job keeping the reader on its toes till the very end. Decent novel but just not one id recommend.

Did not like anything about this book. Dialogue was trite, characters, plot and narration all substandard. Only finished it because I had nothing else to read
