The main characters from the first of the series, "Hard Press'd", Preston Andrews--Press to his friends, Rachel Wilding--FBI Special Agent and hot babe, and Trace Evans--Press's new, young partner are back.
Press is "volunteered" by FBI Director, Malcolm Probst, to help the Bureau solve a serial killer's deadly habit. This guy takes a victim one year, then returns it the next--in slightly altered condition. Press hates Probst, but he hates what this killer is doing, more!
With next to nothing to go on, the Senior Homicide Detective for the Virginia Beach Police Department is brought in to save the day--and save the Bureau's reputation while he's at it.
This one is action packed--whether on the trail of the killer or back at home where Press and Rachel get a few surprises of their own.
Better plot than the first one, I liked it and can't help liking the characters. I'm still not sure how I feel about this whole crime meets romance thing,, but they're growing on me
What a fast paced and exciting read that will leave you wanting more and more of the series. What Present and his fellow Detectives go through to catch a sick person who kills innocent people.
Preston and Trace are asked to help the FBI catch a serial killer. Rachael had come to ask since Press is not happy with the FBI director. This killer kidnaps a victim on June 1st then a year later dispose of the body and takes another victim. The FBI has been trying to catch this guy for a long time. Preston has been called in because of his reputation for being one of the best.
I really like these stories. They are fast moving and keep your interest. Press and Trace are very likeable and Jones (the dog) is great. Granted there is violence but the language is pretty clean, In fact I don't think there are any swear words.
Press Andrews and Trace Evans join forces with FBI agent Rachel Wilding to stop a serial killer in Virginia. A serial killer is snatching young people off the streets, torturing and killing them. The killer then poses the dead person like a portrait. Outside their case, the laugh out loud moments, when Press learns his partner is dating his sister. And, the Senator walks in on Press and Rachel. Not the way Rachel wanted to be introduced to Press' father. It's a fun series to read.
