Stranded at Poppyridge Cove(Seaside Inn Cozy Mystery #3)— Author: Rimmy London/Narrator: Angelina Rocco (12 chapters) July 28, 2024

A doctor, Jessie, rents the whole inn for the weekend, to get away from threats and to try and figure out who tare sending them. Abby is forced to call and cancel other guest staying during that time, but another guest doesn’t get the message in time and shows up. Taylor is not leaving, she needs a break from her own problems, even when the doctor insists it for her own safety. It doesn’t help that Taylor recognizes the doctor as a brief encounter, but Jessie is so paranoid with his issues he doesn’t immediate make the connection. Things intensify when a woman from his past finds him. Who does he trust: his old girlfriend or Taylor?

By far, the best book since the first in the series. I really loved these characters and the twisty plot.

Narrator is good too.

I enjoyed reading Jessie and Taylor’s story in this third book of the Seaside Inn Mystery series. Even though both main characters seemed pretty likable, they both had some major issues going on that made them want/need to get away to the inn, and that also made it hard at first for them to like and trust one another. Then it seemed like every time they started to come close to opening up with each other, something would happen to push them apart again. The danger and mystery had me turning the pages without a break, and it was very satisfying at the end of the book to see the issues resolved and the romantic feelings out in the open. I applaud Ms. London’s storytelling, appreciate receiving an advanced copy of this book, and have given my voluntary and honest opinion.

Dr. Jessie LeVan wrote a book. He is getting threats and the news people will not leave him alone. He decides to rent all the rooms at Poppyridge Cove Inn. Taylor Grey was the only person the owners Chase and Abby could not get ahold of. Jessie is not happy when he finds Taylor at the Inn.

This is a very good mystery, with twists that make the book that much more interesting. Even though there is animosity between the main characters at the beginning, when push comes to shove they work well together. I really liked this clean mystery.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.

They wanted to be alone to solve their problems and they ended up together and solving their problems only after they surpassed the feeling of not trusting, not believing in each other. Friendship and partnership can only grow when there´s trust and respect and that´s for me is the main message of this story.

This was an awesome addition to the previous two books in the series! Rimmy London is an amazing author who provides clean books that are still in touch with current days, always packed with adventure, and ones you don’t want to put down. I read this is one day and couldn’t get enough. I wait for each of her books to be released and I’m never disappointed!

I enjoyed reading this story. It was a Murder mystery.
I liked the way Taylor chose to stay when Jessie asked her to leave. Because he had paid to have the Inn by himself. There are twists and turns and chaos too. And then Taylor escapes from a criminal she knows. And both Taylor and Jessie change. And then you have a happy ending!

Cozy little read
*real life, Romantasy, mystery
*Spice 1 of 5

I enjoyed this book the least in the series so far. You kind of know what happens from the beginning, a lot of the suspense aslo felt like it could be a bit better explained. Needless to say I think you can skip this in the series if you want as the actual people of the inn is not really involved at all.

This is about a doctor, Jessie LeVan, whose life has been threatened. He leaves town for a week to stay at an Inn where he meets an attorney, Taylor Grey, who has problems of her own. Very well written story.

A heart racing romance of suspense and mystery. Two enjoyable characters and a convoluted mess they find themselves in. An enjoyable and quickish read.

Liked

I don't usually read a short novel, but am glad I did this one. There was just enough mystery to keep me needing the answers. I'm kinda squeamish so was a bit scared haha. Enjoyed this book.

Easy -cozy mystery with the author being able to add thrill and anticipation into the story and romance too. The romance was a bit cliche but I think that it is normal in a short book like this. And the romance is not point anyway.

Meh

The way that people keep falling in love 2 days after meeting is ridiculous. These books could be more enjoyable if it wasn’t two people always falling in love instantly.

Stranded at Poppyridge Cove is a very exciting, clean mystery that quickly became my favorite of the series. There is a lot happening in this action packed adventure. The leading characters, Jessie and Abby, are both struggling. Jessie hates the fame that accompanies his best selling book. Abby is burned out and struggling with anxiety and nightmares. I am not about to spoil anything, but I loved the ending. It is perfect. Warning: Do not start this book late at night unless you need no sleep! I could not put it down.

Poppyridge Cove Inn has another mystery or maybe 2? Meet the mysterious Dr Jesse & the beautiful but scared Ms Taylor Grey! What is going on with each of them and why have they come to the Inn? Ms Grey is a Corporate Lawyer does that have anything to do with it? This is a wonderful book with lots of little twists that I just didn't see coming right up to almost the end, so if you like mysteries I think you will enjoy this read! This is the 3 in the series but could be read as a stand alone book.
