didn't read it completely but the passages I read were very interesting. putting aside my horrible judgement about puritans, this journal was full of weird cases (however true or untrue they may be) and it made me curious to see what happened then. granted some of them were downright cruel or stupid but their approach were worth reading.

slow going and often mundane, but some super interesting weird things.. deformed babies, one of the first documented UFO sightings by settlers.. Indian wars and religious debates (that part I super skimmed, just not interested)

Quite interesting, though rather dry. I actually found a lot of his writing amusing, especially considering his personal character was a direct contrast from what he so often preached. Hypocrasy at its best y'all.
