How would you like to fight monsters, train at Camp Half Blood, go on dangerous quests, blow up national momuments (this only counts if you are Percy Jackson on his first quest), save the world from the evil titan king Kronos, make great friends or worst archememies, and lots of other fun stuff? If you would like to do this Percy Jackson and the Olympians is just right for you. Just watch out if you are a demigod. Cause then you should only read The Demigod Files. If you're not a demigod then read all these books. They are great fantasy and by reading these books you can learn about Greek Mythology.

Honestly the best book series because unlike the hunger games series, this series could keep me hooked to the end. After I would finish reading, I wish I was a demigod. I would like to be Poseidon's daughter or Athena's or Zeus's because they are powerful and respected gods with great power.

it is an amazing collection, with starters on each series (percy jackson and the kane chronicles), and as always, these series never failed to captivate my attention.

My girls LOVED this series. We actually listened to the audio books on our drives around the city and they hated when the series ended. It is great fun and provides a nice background into Greek mythology, which my daughters have now taken to reading more about. Love that!

The Percy Jackson series was my favorite of all and they still are! They are full of action, adventure and battles with monsters, enemies, and gods. He better beware of the Lord of the Titans, Kronos, who is out to seek revenge on the gods. I am looking forward all of the next books. I hope there are a lot of them.

De Percy Jackson boekenserie was voor mij een ongelofelijk leuke reeks die me zelden deed afhaken of vervelen. Het was geweldig om te zien hoe de auteur creatieve twists aan de Griekse mythologie gaf, zelfs als ze niet altijd nauwkeurig waren. Het was als een verfrissende nieuwe kijk op oude verhalen.

Wat me vooral aansprak, was dat de boeken niet langdradig aanvoelden. Integendeel, ze zaten boordevol mysteries en constante spanning, waardoor ik constant nieuwsgierig was naar wat er hierna zou gebeuren. Dit hield me geïnvesteerd en enthousiast om door te lezen.

Voor liefhebbers van Griekse mythologie is deze serie echt een aanrader. Het was fascinerend om te zien hoe de auteur de oude verhalen in een moderne context plaatste en ze zo toegankelijk maakte voor een nieuw publiek. Ik zou de Percy Jackson boekenserie zeker aanraden aan iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in avontuur, mythologie en een meeslepend verhaal.

Love it. I just finished this book again. There are many series in the Percy Jackson series in this order. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Trials of Apollo. The Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard happen at the same time so you need to read them at the same time. But The Trials of Apollo is longer it and is still going on. There are also add ons to each series.

This book series was one of my favorite series on earth. I read the first book, and joined their characters slaying monsters, making friends, and having fun. Then I read the second book, and saw the character's stories build and develop with every new danger and hardship they faced. This hunger grew inside me to read more and more books in the series, until I had a book in one hand, and a fork in the other. I did everything with these books. They were amazing, and are worthy of being New York Times bestsellers

I'm giving this four stars because I think it is a good series for elementary school children. The bits about absentee fathers will speak to certain readers, although I wasn't sure what to think about the stereotypical portrayal of all the moms. Apparently we all bake cookies, have nothing meaningful to say besides "I love you" and it is a huge surprise when we stand up for ourselves or do something daring.

If you need to learn about the different Greek gods and demons, but don't want it to feel like studying, this is a good place to start.

I thought when I finished the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, I would never ever love another book character as much as I have loved Harry. But when I met Percy Jackson, I could just say WOW. :)

He's not perfect. He's clumsy. He lacks confidence all the time but let's give him the credit of being the coolest demigod not just because he's the son of Poseidon but because he just know when to be a hero. And his greatness weakness proves to be his greatest strength after all. :))

I haven't yet read the red pyramid. But I LOVED these other books. I'm so glad I picked them up. I would have given it 5 stars, but, as I said, I haven't yet read the red pyramid. I can't wait for HoH!!! I am having a hard time putting into words how much I LOVED these books! As you can tell I'm very enthusiastic about reading, and reading Rick Riordan books too!!!!! I have now read the Red Pyramid and it was P E R F E C T I O N
