Very quick read. Obviously this isn't a guide on how to be a doctor. But there are some pretty cool tips in here. It's interesting comparing modern medicine & "ancient" medicine.

Being a student in pharmacology, I wanted to make more of an effort to learn about traditional and non-westernized practices of medicine. I think there’s a lot of value in learning the different ways in which humans have treated ailments. Tu Youyou is a perfect example of that (Noble prize winning scientist for cure of malaria using traditional Chinese medicine).

There’s nothing spectacular to say about this book. There’s nothing bad to say either. This is purely a guide into different medical preparations across cultures.

If this is something that you’re interested in learning more about, this book does the job.

"Ancient Healing Secrets" is an interesting guide which outlines various cures and therapies for a variety of health problems. "Ancient Healing Secrets" includes in these remedies the use of water, the use of plants and herbs, finger pressure therapies, body mind medicine and other modalities. This is an excellent resource book which I would recommend.

The book would have been more helpful if the needed supplies were more easily obtained. A lot of the secrets of the book are just using common sense or remedies most people already know. I did not gain to much knowledge from reading this.
