This book is intended as an aide-memoire for ICD-11 coding of mental health diagnoses, including symptoms, signs, clinical findings, other factors influencing mental health, and reasons for contact with mental health services. It provides all the codes needed for clinical purposes from ICD-11 Chapter 6 for mental, behavioural, or neurodevelopmental disorders as well as the relevant codes in Chapter 7 (sleep-wake disorders), Chapter 17 (conditions related to sexual health), Chapter 23 (self-harm), Chapter 24 (factors influencing health status or contact with health service), and Chapter 26 (symptoms, signs or clinical findings, not elsewhere classified). It does not provide the full diagnostic criteria needed to formally reach diagnoses. Information is accurate at the time of publication but details of ICD-11 may change over time.
